Farmers: Greg Glenn, Shawn Eubank, and Nick Wilson

Who We Are:

Bios:

Greg Glenn (a.k.a Grubby)
Our fearless farm manager has lived on the farm since
his family moved here in 2004. He attended
Virginia Tech and earned a degree in Agricultural
Economics, while developing a passion for the land.
Upon finishing his degree in 2009, he spent several months
in Washington state and Mexico as part of a discipleship
training program. He came back home to Maryland and began sculpting our business plan.
When not driving our tractor, he can be found playing guitar or fixing his moped.
    Favorite Veggie: Walla Walla Sweets

Shawn Eubank (a.k.a Big Smeag)
Our bright assistant manager and produce specialist is
originally from Virginia Beach. During his time at Virginia
Tech, Shawn received a degree in Finance and cooked at
a local Cajan restaurant. He could be found most
Saturdays at the Blacksburg Farmers Market selling
produce. After graduation in 09’, Shawn spent six months
in Peru working with a church and learning about micro-financing. He joined the farm in February.
When not planting our seeds and raising newly tilled beds, he can be found endlessly reading Hokie sports articles.
    Favorite Veggie: Purple Cherokee Tomatoes

Nick Wilson (a.k.a Wheels)
Our creative assistant manager and construction
foreman grew up in New Mexico although he calls
Maryland home. His five years in the College of
Architecture at Virginia Tech has given him a wide range
of design experiences and a love for making things. After a
short stint on the farm this past summer building a stone
wall and patio, he interned with Engineering Ministries
International in their Costa Rica office. Returning in December to Maryland he found a difficult economy but a unique opportunity to put his creativity to use on the farm.
When not shoring up the barn or developing the website, he rides his bike and finds time to paint.
