About
Rocklands Farm raises pasture-raised meats, including grass-fed grass-finished beef, free-range eggs, and organic (non-certified) produce.
Nestled on 34 scenic acres within Montgomery County, Maryland, it’s historic property is only thirty miles from Washington DC. It is one of the first farms within Montgomery County’s Agriculture Reserve, adjacent to Seneca Creek State Park and the Potomac River, and is conveniently located just off River Road, a main road from the metropolitan area used by destination seekers of open space and scenic farmland.
Rocklands Farm is a family farm owned by the Glenn family and has been in full operation since 2010. It is run by Greg & Anna Joy Glenn, and their two friends Joel & Megan Barr who share a passion for people, great food and the practice of holistic agriculture.
The farm utilizes a variety of growing methods (free-range pasture based, organic, biodynamic, etc.), research sources and local support for its production methods; ranging from established local farms who sustainably produce similar crops, to secret family practices and seed varieties, to cutting edge research from Institutes and Universities. This diversity allows for a well-rounded operation, while ensuring a high level of quality, environmental stewardship, and engaging platform to know where your food comes from.
