THE TEAM
Greg Glenn – Co-Founder, CEO & Farm Manager

Growing up in nearby Bethesda all his life, Greg and his family moved to the farm in 2003.
He studied Agriculture & Applied Economics at Virginia Tech, where he developed a passion for feeding people, farming and local food systems. After spending time in Kenya and South Africa, he was inspired to start a holistic farm at the family's property.
Since then, the operation has grown in size and diversity, with the greatest joy being that the family has "come back to the farm" to become integral parts of the operation.
Greg is deeply passionate about reverence for our food, stewardship of creation, and the craft of farming.
Greg is married to the lovely Anna Joy Glenn, and they have three sons, Fritz, Simeon, and Charlie.

Anna Glenn – Education Manager

Anna grew up on Bainbridge Island, WA as the third oldest of 8 kids. She received a B.S. in education from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.
During and after college Anna spent 2 years on a community farm in Miwani, Kenya working with Nehemiah International. In Kenya Anna discovered the joys of fresh milk and vegetables and the peace of an agrarian community.
During this time she wrote e-mails and letters back and forth with a guy named Greg, whom she fell in love with before she ever met. She moved back to the U.S. to marry Greg and join him at Rocklands.
She enjoys playing with their sons, Fritz & Simeon, inspiring kids to become farmers, arranging wildflowers, going for dips in the creek, and making homemade ice cream.
She doesn’t like it when Bone Dog sleeps in her room and snores all night. Anna and Greg desire to nourish people with food and hospitality and farm to inspire and encourage anyone who comes.

Chris Ahn – Business manager and Controller

Chris was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland in College Park and studied Business Information Systems.
Upon graduation, Chris went into the consulting world and worked for a global technology consulting firm in Chicago. However, he found no passion in his work so he decided to leave the office and pursue his interest in agriculture.

Chris is proud to be back in his home state working with Rocklands Farm to serve the local community with the highest quality farm grown products in the area.
Chris enjoys exploring the great outdoors, reading his wife's blog, playing with his dog and learning as much as he can about farming. Chris greatly dislikes the metropolitan traffic and bathing his dog.
