A Full Day on the Farm

Morning session in the Tasting Room or Main Barn. Catered lunch. Afternoon guided vineyard walk or farm experience. Wine tasting to close the day.

Farm Buyout

Stroll the garden with a glass of wine, say hi to the sheep, play lawn games before dinner. Enjoy connecting with each other around the bonfire in a relaxed unhurried atmosphere. Ideal for large groups, conferences, and team meetings.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We work with a curated list of catering partners rather than a single in-house kitchen. We work with preferred caterers who know the farm well and are set up to handle everything from intimate dinners to full-day events to drop-off service.

  • Yes, with some guidelines. We are intentional about what comes onto the farm to keep the space safe for our animals, our guests, and the property itself. The following items are not permitted: helium balloons, confetti or glitter, rice throwing, pop-up tents, open flames, smoke or fog machines, adhesives of any kind, drones and inflatable decor. Beyond that, we are happy to talk through your vision. Many of our event hosts find that the farm does most of the decorating on its own.

  • Most events range from 20 to 120 people, though we can accommodate up to 300 guests across the farm.

  • All wine for your event will be provided by Rocklands so you can experience our locally grown wines made onsite. We are BYOB, and you may bring liquor or beer from other sources to your event.

  • We recommend booking as soon as you have your date in mind! Dates do fill up quickly, especially around peak seasons: spring, fall, and the winter holidays.

  • We are less than 1-hour from DC.

  • Rocklands is a working farm, so guests will traverse a variety of grounds, including grass, gravel, and dirt. We do our best to ensure safety for all guests, but please keep in mind our farm is active and changes seasonally.

  • We have an extensive list of Rocklands Experiences you can explore on our website here. We are always open to adding a bespoke activity for your special event. Chat with your event coordinator to customize your experience!

  • We have set retreat packages you can choose from that optimize our available spaces and are designed around team retreats. Pick and choose the best package for your team, and then work with your event coordinator to elevate it or customize it for your needs.
