Weddings at Rocklands Farm Winery
Rocklands Farm Winery is a working farm with 34 acres of vineyard, pasture, and cutting gardens in Maryland's Agricultural Reserve. The wine in your guests' glasses was grown in the soil outside the barn door. The flowers on your tables were cut from our garden that morning.
We host a limited number of weddings each year, on Saturdays in May, June, September, and October. Limited by choice, so that every couple gets our full attention and the farm feels like it's yours

What makes it different
There are a lot of beautiful places to get married near DC. Here's what makes us different.
The wine is made here
Every bottle poured at your wedding comes from our vineyard. Not a house wine from a distributor: estate-grown, handcrafted, and poured by the people who made it.
Jeni and the team are personally involved
You won't be handed off to a coordinator you've never met. We stay close from the first tour to the last dance, and we care about how your day goes.
The flowers come from the garden
Our Wildcraft florals are grown on the farm and designed by Anna Joy Glenn. Seasonal, living, and rooted in this land.
30 minutes from DC. 34 acres of privacy
Your guests don't need to travel far to feel transported. Poolesville is an easy drive from DC, Bethesda, and Virginia, and the farm feels like a world away from all of it.
Planning & day-of coordination
From your first tour to the final walkthrough a month before the wedding, Jeni and the team are with you. We'll help you think through the details that matter, from wine selections, to vendor timing, to how the day flows from one space to the next. When your wedding day arrives, we handle so you don't have to.
Cocktail hour
While you take portraits in the vineyard and throughout the grounds, your guests spill out onto the barn yard with a glass of estate wine. The property gives people room to wander, settle in, and find each other.
Getting ready
The Stone House has two spacious, separate suites, one for each side of the wedding party. Plus it has a dining room and bathroom. It's quiet, private, and far enough from the action that you can relax before the ceremony. Some of our couples' favorite photos of the day are taken here.
Dinner & dancing
The Bank Barn opens up for the reception. Long farmhouse tables, warm wood tones, string lights, and the vineyard visible through the wide barn doors on both sides. We'll help you choose wines that work with your menu, and the barn has a way of making any caterer's food taste a little better just by being there.
The ceremony
Most of our ceremonies take place on the Stone House lawn, with the 1920s fieldstone house as the backdrop and the open Maryland sky above. It's unhurried and grounding, the kind of setting where vows feel like they mean something, because everything around you is alive and real.
The afterparty
When the reception winds down, have a send off moment outside the barn. Then the stone fire pit draws the last guests together. Some of the best moments at a Rocklands Farm Winery wedding happen after the dancing. We leave the fire going until it's time to go home.
